Video is Still King (And It’s Back on the Blog!)

Hey everyone, I’ve got something a little different (but also comfortably familiar) for you today. I realized recently that I’d been limiting how I connect and express myself online. There was a time when I regularly shared my YouTube videos right here on the blog, and then… I stopped.

I remember a commenter once expressed disappointment that I seemed to be prioritizing video over written content. Honestly, that comment stuck with me. It actually led me to stop posting videos here altogether. And, interestingly, I noticed a corresponding decline in my blog writing in general. It was like one had affected the other.

I want to change that. My original intention with the YouTube channel was to expand my reach as an author and connect with a new audience – to complement, not replace, the blog. And, let’s be honest, in today’s online world, video is an undeniably powerful tool. Video is king.

So, I’ve made a decision: I’m bringing my videos back to the blog! There’s no complex marketing strategy behind it; it’s simply about creating a central hub for all my creative work. I want to give you, my readers, more ways to connect with what I do.

Don’t worry, this doesn’t mean I’m abandoning writing! I still love to write, and that passion hasn’t diminished. But I also love the creative process of making videos, and I want to share that side of myself here, too.

I hope you’ll enjoy this (re)integration of video content. I’m excited to have everything in one place, and I think it will create a richer experience for all of us.
