Day 76 of 90: Jump starting the process #ASMSG #IAN1 #IARTG #SupportIndieAuthors #OneWordAtATime
I had someone ask me for specific examples of things I use to help jumpstart my mind for writing. I gave them the typical answer that I give everyone, which is read more and have a routine. However, last night I was thinking that might not be enough. So, I decided to make my post … Continue reading Day 76 of 90: Jump starting the process #ASMSG #IAN1 #IARTG #SupportIndieAuthors #OneWordAtATime
Day 75 of 90: Don’t Stifle Creativity #AmEditing #ASMSG #IARTG #SupportIndieAuthors #Ian1 #Inspiration
I'm nearing the end of my first draft, and I'm proud of myself. I could still be blinded by my own bias, but I didn't find half as many mistakes as I usually do. I love talking to other authors about their editing process. I’ve learned a hundred different methods, and I use them all. … Continue reading Day 75 of 90: Don’t Stifle Creativity #AmEditing #ASMSG #IARTG #SupportIndieAuthors #Ian1 #Inspiration

Awesome! Reminds me of love, meaning it's complicated.

At some point, I really should come up with a good name for this project. I want to offer this free to other writers, in the hopes something I’ve shared will help them along their journey. I saw a question on the Support Indie Authors board that asked if you can recover from a bad review. I’m here to tell you that you can if you don’t let that one-star review stop you. Remember, perseverance is the key. We authors often focus on our reviews. We crave for input from readers, … Continue reading Day 73 of 90: Recovering from bad reviews #ASMSG #IARTG #IAN1 #SupportIndieAuthors
Day 72 of 90: Never Stop Reading #ASMSG #IARTG #IAN1 #SupportIndieAuthors
It's amazing to me how much a story can change our thinking. A well written story can completely change the way we look at the world. I really believe that reading throughout my life has helped to shape me into the empathetic person I am today. I've seen outside perspectives from thousands of points of … Continue reading Day 72 of 90: Never Stop Reading #ASMSG #IARTG #IAN1 #SupportIndieAuthors
Cruisin’ through books cause books make life worth living with Aly 4/19/2016
The Dead Girls of Hysteria Hall by Katie Alender This book was good. I like ghost books and stories for the most part. I loved the way it ended the best. My favorite character was Delia. I think this story shows us that even in dead love will conquer all! Great book! 5/5
