Beyond the Ashes by H.L. Baker

This book was a bit slow for me. It seemed a little wordy for me in places but I liked the idea of the book. The story did keep me guessing once it got moving better and I enjoyed trying to figure out what will happen next. I was not very scared, I have watched worse movies that never scare me. I would read something from this author again because I always like to read a few things from one author before I decide to keep reading their books or not and this is the first thing I read by H.L.
