Believe it or not, my dice has saved me from many a sticky situation. Like the time I fought off a werewolf with nothing but my shield and a spiked gauntlet. Or the time I jumped onto the back of an elemental dragon and rode him across the planes. Things like this just don’t happen in our daily lives, and to me that’s saddening.
I have an over active imagination. Have had it ever since I was a kid, and when I started writing I had a million different ideas flood me at once. You know what I used to make the choices I did in my books? That’s right, my dice. And so, I offer thanks to the people who created dice, and the people who created the table top role playing games I played for so many years, without who’s influence I would be a completely different person.

Greetings from Los angeles! I’m bored to tears at
work so I decided to browse your blog on my iphone during lunch break.
I really like the knowledge you provide here and
can’t wait to take a look when I get home. I’m amazed at how fast your
blog loaded on my mobile .. I’m not even using WIFI,
just 3G .. Anyways, great blog!

Imagination is a wonderful thing! I hope I never lose mine. What a dark and scary place that would leave me in!

I think I have this same color, only it’s the elongated 10 sider. One of my favorites. We used to play D&D, now we play Cyberpunk. Many times my “life” has been saved by the perfect roll of the dice! My sci-fi series is loosely based on characters from our Traveler days (D&D in space)

It’s been around quite awhile. We enjoy it. Lots of imagination and dice rolls.

Oh that is awesome. I’ve never determined the outcome of a story with dice…but mostly because i was a coward. And i definitely have moments when im reading a book (usually trashy sci fi ir fantasy) and will stop to say, “that guy just rolled a 1”

Yeah, mostly used it when I wasn’t sure which path I wanted to take. Been using it a bit less in the project I’m working on currently.
